Nintendo Wii’s Balance Board enables the users to enjoy playing a particular Wii game with the control of the feet. This idea actually came from Sumo Wrestlers. They are so heavy when they weight themselves so they need to use two scales and lay it side by side. There are a lot of fun stuff that we can do when it comes to gaming and lots of people are challenged by it. They are drawn by this feature and at the same time, they enjoy the feeling that they get whenever they play a particular game.

Let’s go back to the balance board. If you have tried playing with Wii Fit Plus in your home, you will find yourself enojoying like a child who just got his first toy. You can record your weight, and if you don’t want others to find out about it, you can protect it with a password. The Wii Fit Age is also calculated and you will also have a stick figure Mii character – it will serve as your representative on the screen. So if you put up weight, it will be reflected on your character. You can also weight your pet cat or dog on the board if you like.

The five activity categories in Wii Fit Plus are:

  • Strength Training
  • Aerobics
  • Yoga
  • Balance Games
  • Training Plus
  • There is also a male and female trainer that you can choose and that will be the one to instruct you in your exercises as you go through the training. Your instructor will also inform you if you are already tired and must rest. The routines can be customized and you can choose the time of your workouts. The goals can be tracked on graphs and you will be able to monitor how many calories you have burned.
